Both Shift keys not working

Hi.

My os is windows 7, and I'm using a Logitech keyboard. The keys were working fine, but suddenly only the shift key has stopped working I tried everything from changing the language to English united states, and even the sticky keys. But nothing worked. I have switched off removed the cable, attached it back, and switched back on but the problem is still there.

Please help!!!

Map Any Key to Any Key on Windows 10, 8, 7, or Vista

NOTE:
This is a Google search result. I've not read the article. If the above isn't to your liking, I guess you can change the keyboard.

Use a program like autohotkey or robotask to determine if it is a software or hardware problem.

You can also connect the keyboard to another system or use a USB installed OS/distro to rule out a hardware problem.

Given that both keys have stopped working simultaneously, it more likely seems to be a software issue. Uninstall the driver from device manager and let it reinstall itself.
